Enjoy Jeanie as she explores the truth that giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. When we give joyfully, freely and unconditionally, from the heart, the energy behind our giving increases many times over, and we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our life and in the lives of all. We are blessed as we give with a grateful heart!
Give yourself a gift and watch!
As we continue our series on the abundance that surrounds us, Rev. Melanie explores the spiritual principles that help us recognize and celebrate this truth. What attracts this abundance into manifestation? Doing what we love, sharing our gifts with the world will bring support into our lives we could not have anticipated. Enjoy!
Abundance surrounds and sustains us all the time. What is abundance? What does it look like? How does it feel? How do we embrace it for ourselves and for our community as a whole? And how do we give thanks for all that we are given each and every day? We are blessed when we
Sometimes we all feel empty and in need. Often, when this feeling crashes over us, we reach out–seeking God or sometimes fulfillment in others, situations, circumstances or material things. But when we truly open our eyes to the abundance around us all the time, we feel complete from the inside out.
In this version of the beautiful classic Christian hymn, Asha acknowledges asking for a shift in perspective, a better understanding of the truly abundant world in which we live, where our needs are met on a moment by moment basis. Instead of seeing the glass (or cup, in this case) as half-full or empty, we seek to know that the glass is indeed full, and we remember that the well of Source “never will run dry”.
Fill My Cup Lord Composer, Richard Eugene Blanchard Sr.
(Revised Lyrics, A. Lightbearer)
Like the woman at the well, I was seeking
For fear and doubt had filled my eyes
And then I heard sweet Spirit speaking
“Drink from my well, that never will run dry”
Fill my cup, Lord. I lift it up, Lord.
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of heaven feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup. Fill it up and make me whole.
There are millions in this world who are craving
The pleasures gold and silver buy,
When all around are blessings they’re not seeing
Precious gifts that they are passing by
Fill my cup, Lord. I lift it up, Lord.
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of heaven feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup. Fill it up and make me whole.
