On this Mother’s Day, we celebrated the strength of our mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and all those women and men who brought their loving energy to the support of others. Examining the lives and legacies of Julia Ward Howe and Ann Jarvis, we learned that there is nothing the steel backbone of committed mothers cannot accomplish to safeguard and improve the lives of those in our families, our communities and our world.
We’ve heard it said that when our hearts are broken it’s the cracks that let in the light. Often, it’s those moments that open us to the healing power of Spirit, restoring and renewing us. How do we heal in tough times? Enjoy Rev. Melanie as she explores those principles and practices that lift us up when we need it most.
