“Moving Forward or Killing Time?”

Is the person you are right now the person you want to be forever?

No matter where we are in life, change happens. It may be a new awareness for the same old thing we’ve been doing for years, or a complete change of direction. What does this actually mean in a spiritual sense? What are the qualities we need for moving forward? It’s never too late for change, but how do we move forward rather than simply waste our time?

“It’s Never Too Late To Be Who You Were Meant To Be!”

Are our best days behind us? How often do we think opportunity has passed us by? Here’s our chance to take a new look at the possibilities life offers, every day. As George Eliot said, it’s never too late to be who you were meant to be.

“It’s Never Too Late to Love”

It’s never too late to love. The frequency of love moves us beyond the lower frequency of fears (of limits, consequences, doubts of the world of sensory limitations) into the world of unlimited possibilities.

Wednesday September 1, 7:00 – 8:30 pm ET. Community Circle Zoom Meeting/Discussion. Board President and congregant Tim Rainey works at Lake Lanier and will be presenting  a talk about Lake Lanier, GA. Lake Lanier is well known for its recreational opportunities and it is the source of water for metropolitan Atlanta.  But what else does it do?  How do you “manage” a lake?  Isn’t it just water flowing into a big hole?  Learn about the multiple purposes for Lake Lanier and the intricate, complex, and sometimes delicate factors, considerations, and processes that go into “managing” a lake.  Learn about the benefits it provides, not only locally, but regionally and nationally.  And finally, learn why it is not really a “lake”.

Our focus this evening is healing our world, or Tikkun Olam – imagery taken from the Jewish mystical tradition. What does such healing look like for us, individually and in community? If you were asked to list five areas of our world, or our communal life, that most need healing from your perspective, what would they be? Let’s share our wisdom and experience on this very timely topic, tonight at 7:00 p.m. Many thanks to Michael Roussell for leading this evening’s discussion!
