“Where You Are”

Our experience of the sacred does not wait on changes we plan to make, or who we hope to be down the road. It can happen right now, based on exactly where and who we are.  Given this truth, what qualities of mind and heart can we bring to this journey?

“Out of Chaos, Clarity”

This week Rev. Melanie explores the topic of transformation in her talk entitled “Out of Chaos, Clarity.”

Have you noticed that change can be messy? When our lives are in flux, we sometimes can’t even begin to keep all the balls in the air. When we feel our lives descending into chaos, it may help to remember that creation can be an explosive business, but the end result can surprise  and delight us.

“Moving Forward or Killing Time?”

Is the person you are right now the person you want to be forever?

No matter where we are in life, change happens. It may be a new awareness for the same old thing we’ve been doing for years, or a complete change of direction. What does this actually mean in a spiritual sense? What are the qualities we need for moving forward? It’s never too late for change, but how do we move forward rather than simply waste our time?

Living The Seasons

Our question this month is, “Where am I going?” Last week we looked at the ultimate question – where are we going at death? This week, we shift our focus to look at our journey through our years and seasons. Sister Joan Chittister writes that “life is made up of the turning of the years.”
