Our Ministry Team

Rev. Melanie Eyre
Spiritual Director

Rev. Melanie Eyre is an ordained Interfaith Minister who brings a wealth of experience to One World.  Long a student of the world’s many diverse faith traditions, she is committed to interfaith dialogue and understanding as a pathway to peace. Her messages explore practical and transformational spiritual principles as taught by the world’s masters, focusing on the perennial wisdom at the heart of interspiritual understanding and practice. Most recently, she founded the North Fulton Interfaith Alliance, bringing more interfaith awareness, conversations, activities and initiatives to Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, Roswell and Sandy Springs.

In addition to her weekly messages at One World, Rev. Melanie serves by creating and officiating at the rituals that mark the important transitions in our lives – weddings, baby blessings, and celebrations of life.

Rev. Melanie and her wife, Deborah, have three wonderful children and live in Roswell. Two of her children have special needs, and Melanie and Deborah are active in special needs programs in North Fulton. She is also a veteran, having spent six years on active duty in the Navy and several years in the Naval Reserve.

Rev. Melanie feels privileged and blessed to be a member of this wonderful community!

Rev. Rebecca Johnson
Youth Education Director

Rev. Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to One World. A native of Kentwood, Michigan, Rebecca moved to Atlanta in 1999.  She graduated from and was ordained by the Barbara King School of Ministry, Dr. Barbara Lewis King, on July 31, 2016. While in seminary she facilitated an affirmative prayer line weekly, including a 5 to 10 minute sermon and an affirmation. She also has facilitated Life Classes at Hillside International Truth Center, including “Lessons In Truth” from “The Complete Works of Emilie Cady.” She is also the facilitator of a Yoga Nidra Meditation every third Thursday at Unity North Atlanta.

Rebecca is also a Reiki healer, 2nd level, a teacher, a devoted mother of four and a grandmother of twelve wonderful grandchildren. When not leading our youth programs or spending time with family, Rebecca is a Realtor with PalmerHouse Properties and also works as a legal assistant.

Rebecca says that her goal is to be an example of all the principles she has learned from her teachings at Hillside International Truth Center and Unity North, and to let Spirit guide her to where and how to fulfill its purpose, using the principles of meditation, affirmative prayer and service.

We are so fortunate to have such an experienced and dedicated teacher leading our youth programs!
